I am sorry for not keeping up to date on my postings on the website. I thank you all for your continued vistits and interest in my work. Over the past few weeks I have finished some new products that can be seen in the “cabinets” section of the “product gallery.” One is a red cabinet made from an old window. The other is an 8′ tall black distressed cabinet. This is a very big piece and will actually be used by the person who bought it as a toy storage cabinet. This cabinet can made to custom sizes and finishes as can most of my products. Placement of shelves is also customizable. In this case, some shelves were placed to accomodate specific sized toys to be stored in it.
I am working on four 4′ long tables with decorative trim on the skirt that would make great sofa tables, hall tables or entry tables. They measure about 11″ deep and 32″ high. These should be complete about mid-week next week. If you would like a picture send me an email to mike@jmwoods.net and I will forward what I have. I plan to paint them early next week, so if you have a color in mind let me know soon.

I have 5 cabinets cut out that will have old windows for doors. I hope to get these assembled this week.
I am also making some wooden boxes that would make great decorative home storage or even be used in a booth as storage for loose items. I plan to put decorative knobs or pulls on the front of these and paint and distress them. They should turnout really cute!
Spring is almost here! I am making cedar bird houses. I have some at The Avant Garde’n and Charley’s Place. If you need more just email or call!
I will be working this week on some more 6′ decorative sofa tables with lower shelves, some harvest tables…2′x4′ and approx 3′x6.5′, and some bar height gathering/pub tables. I imagine I will make these about 3′x3′. I can make other sizes, but these seem to be popular sizes. I can make tables up to 4′x8′…I may be able to make larger ones???
I still have many 2′ thin legged sofa tables to finish distressing, glazing and clear coating. I also have some coffee tables to do the same to.

Oh yeah…almost forgot. I am building a new table saw as I have destroyed by store bought one cutting large material. It will be a “monster.” It has a 6.5HP gas engine and a 12″ saw blade. I have some finishing touches and it will be ready to go. I can’t wait to try it this week!!! 
The larger blade should be able to cut 3″ legs in one pass. The larger engine will hopefully not bog down at all.
One other thing…sometimes I am asked to accomodate something sentimental into one of my pieces. This is an option. If you have some special hardware off on old cabinet from grandma, some wood from grandpa’s old barn, some legs off your mom’s old table or just something that looked cool that you picked up at a garage sale or flea market that you would like added to your piece…just ask. I will be more than happy to try to accomidate it into a custom piece.
